Donegal DK is the best yarn for all the cozy knits. Makes a lovely tweedy fabric. This yarn has a lovely round twist and it is made of very soft merino so it's next to skin soft. All the colors are hand dyed in our home basement studio in small batches.
This is a sister yarn to Donegal Tweed. Neon Donegal DK is the same yarn with neps in neon colors.
Yarns come from a supplier from Great Britain that doesn't use Australian merino wools. This yarn is made of mulesing free superwash merino from South America. The wool meets Öko-Tex standards. The Donegal neps are viscose.
