Luxorious yarn base with silk and yak combined. Perfect for shawls, sweaters, hats and other knits. All the colors are quite dark because the yak fibers are dark, and the silk and yak combo makes all colors look amazing. Next to skin soft. Hand dyed in our home basement studio in small batches.
SilkYak is fingering weight version of SilkYak DK.
Yarns come from a supplier from Great Britain that doesn't use Australian merino wools. This yarn is made of mulesing free superwash merino from South America. The wool meets Öko-Tex standards. Silk comes from China and yak comes from Tibet and Mongolia.
