Yarn doesn't get better than this, pure luxury! SilkYak Single is a single-ply merino-silk-yak yarn blend with 120g of yarn in one skein, so with just one skein you could make a quite large shawl. I specially recommend this yarn in shawls and lighter sweaters. All the colors are quite dark because the yak fibers are dark, and the silk and yak combo makes all colors look amazing. Next to skin soft. Hand dyed in our home basement studio in small batches.
Yarns come from a supplier from Great Britain that doesn't use Australian merino wools. This yarn is made of mulesing free superwash merino from South America. The wool meets Öko-Tex standards. Silk comes from China and yak comes from Tibet and Mongolia.
